Our story

Hello there! Thank you for stopping by. Let us introduce ourselves!

Christine (she/her) and Pat (he/him) here -- co-owners of Fern River Farm! We settled in Whitingham, Vermont in 2019 and started our farm. We have recently relocated our farm to Chelsea, Vermont, at the start of 2025 to a new property that has some space for all of our animals.

We are a small farmstead creamery operation making cheeses from our own cow and sheep milk. We also offer wool fiber products from our own sheep's wool, such as yarn, roving, and hand knit and crocheted items, we have some pasture raised lamb (and beef in 2026), and we offer handmade functional pottery and wood goods, including cutting and charcuterie boards, made by us, the co-owners of the farm.
